Ergonomics for Drivers and Equipment Operators OHS Course Greater Vancouver

Date: Thursday March 12, 2009 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

This Ergonomics Course is designed for drivers and equipment operators in sectors such as: construction, forestry, sawmills (for forklifts), municipality, transit, ferry workers, transportation workers (delivery, long haul), railway workers, pilots, coast guard, etc.

This course is designed to provide Joint OH&S Committees and Worker Representatives with the knowledge and skills to assess all aspects of heavy equipment ergonomics including seating design and adjustment, posture, access and egress, visibility, and design and location of dials and displays. The health effects and assessments of whole body vibration are also covered.
