Evidentiary issues on benefits beyond Age 65, “Arising out of and in the course of”, Chronic Pain, Mental Stress post Plesner, and the “economic test” in occupational disease cases.
Highlights of Symposium:
- Keynote Speaker: TBA – presentation, question and answer period involving an expert in the fundamentals of evidence in an administrative law setting.
- Panel Discussion: overview of the issues, applicable law, policy and case developments. Practical tips on evidentiary issues on working past age 65, addressing causation in relation to “arising out of and in the course of” presumption under section 5(4) of the Act, mental stress cases post Plesner, and the economic test in occupational disease cases.
