Jobs, Justice, Climate - Building a Green Economy for BC

On September 10-11, BC's Environmental and Labour movements will host a conference on building a green provincial economy. 

The keynote speaker will be David Foster, Executive Director of the BlueGreen Alliance.  The BlueGreen Alliance is a US-based national strategic partnership between labour unions and environmental organizations dedicated to expanding the number and quality of jobs in the green economy.

Date:  Friday, September 10, 2010
Time:  Doors open at 6:00 pm.  Event will be held between 7:00-10:00 pm.
Location:  Plaza Ballroom, Hyatt Regency Hotel - 655 Burrard Street, Vancouver

The conference is  free, but space is limited.  Advanced registration is required by filling in an online form at the Columbia Institute's website.
